This bar chart compares the proportion of three buying and drinking coffee or tea habits in five different city residents in Australia.
Overall, Australian people in five different areas namely Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Hobart except Adelaide, illustrate that residents in four cities bought fresh coffee most in the last 4 weeks. In addition, the percentage of city residents who went to a cafe or coffee or tea in the last weeks recorded the lowest percentage over the five cities.
To begin with, Australian people who went to a cafe to drink coffee or tea in the last 4 weeks in Melbourne showed approximately 63 % which is the highest rate over the graph shown. While the percentage of visitors to cafes for tea and coffee in Hobart and Sydney was more than 55 %, only people in Adelaide showed under 50 % purchase in the last 4 weeks. However, nearly 54 % and around 53 % of citizens in Hobart and Brisbane consumed instant coffee respectively whereas Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide drank instant coffee from 45 % to 50 %.
On the other hand, the proportion of people who bought fresh coffee in the last 4 weeks was lower than the other categories in general. While the percentage of residents in Sydney and in Melbourne were around 44 % and nearly 43 % respectively, people in Brisbane showed under 35 % which is the lowest point in the graph, and residents in Adelaide had similar results with Brisbane.
