It is a common belief that web content do
not have to be utilized to teach children. However, there is a more persuasive
argument that web content can be an useful educational tool to instruct children
because it can foster their creativity.
On the other hand, some people say that
there are a lot of better ways to teach children than web content such as
attending classes at school. They believe that teachers at school can teach children
better than web content because teachers have a high level of knowledge and
wisdom, which can provide a high quality of education. Moreover, teachers are
able to interact with students in person during the class.
In fact, this belief was realized recently
during the COVID-19 situation. The school of U.S.A. implemented a policy indicating
that some of their students need to study with web content while staying at
home. The majority of students who studied at school reported higher scores on
their tests than who studied with web content. This illustrates that attending classes
at school can be a more effective way to teach the children.
Nevertheless, I support the idea that web
content needs to be utilized to instruct students because it develops the
creativity of children. Web content has a variety of educational materials
including visual and auditory data. These materials stimulate the children’s
brain and help them express their feelings naturally. Furthermore, children can
learn through web content anytime they want as long as they have a device.
Take the example of English classes in
Korea’s school. Most schools in Seoul, the capital of Korea, use web content as
an educational tool during English classes. This is because web content can
show diverse useful images and pronounce English words exactly. This example
demonstrates that web content can be an useful educational tool to teach children.
To sum up, while it is apparent that other
ways also can be good methods to teach children, it is undeniable that web
content if useful method to instruct students.
