In details, 43% of sodium was consumed in dinner while the ratio account for 29%, 14%, 14% in lunch, breakfast and snacks, respectively. American’s intake of saturated fat was the highest in dinner (37%) compared to added sugar in snacks by 42%, while about one fifth saturated fat was consumed in snacks and 26% in lunch. Also, lunch contained 19% added sugar while dinner included 23% of this type of nutrient.
