International animal rights groups argue it is wrong to use and kill animals for the benefit of human beings. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
There is massive disapproval of using and killing animals for a human benefit such as medical use. I personally agree with their idea because it is inhuman and too cruel.
To begin with, many companies and organizations have allowed researchers to do animal testing to meet their needs. The reason why they started animal experiments is that they are afraid of using their medicines or chemicals on the human body so, try them on animals to prove their safety and reliability. However, the way of processing the test is too cruel and immoral to animals. For example, because of increased confirmed cases of COVID-19 these days, the vaccine companies have posed that they have been on animal testing to develop a new vaccine as soon as possible and one of the companies used a pig by injecting coronavirus as well as vaccination on the body of the pig directly. Apparently, a substantial number of tested pig died because of this experiment. There is no reason for animals to be dead even if it can be an innovative finding for human beings.
What is more, the method of killing animals is seriously ruthless and violent towards animals. People are not only taking animal’s life for medical purposes but also for the consuming nutrition from them as meals of everyday life. It is obviously important for people to have proteins and irons by eating meats, however, people have not thought about the cruel ways of killing animals before it turned to their meal. There are also peaceful ways of putting animals to eternal sleep such as using drugs but, because of the cost problem, many companies have been choosing the original path. Plus, killing a lot of animals at the same time, cause massive environmental problems as well by emitting Co2 and chemicals.
In conclusion, although animal testing is one of the effective ways of getting excellent health benefits for humans, I believe that the way of dealing with animals should be reconsidered to more ethical.
