when it comes to housework, there is a growing debate over whether parents have to demand their children to help housekeeping. Although it is quite important that children feel less stress from the chores, I believe we should place a strong emphasis on their healthy adult lives.
A case could be put forward that if parents ask their children to do much housework, they are more likely to be defiant children. As they go through adolescence, forcing household chores has a negative effect on relationship between parents and children. This is because if children regard the chores as stressful tasks, if may make them far more rebellious than ever before. In addition, more complex and methodical chores such as toilet and ceiling cleaning may cause severe injuries.
however, in spite of these concerns, household chores play an important role in children's ability development in their adult lives. First of all, by being assigned an amount of the chores, they are able to improve their relationship skills through the diverse range of experiences. In this case, they can learn about communicating cleary, negotiating, cooperating and working as a team. The most significant aspect is that children can have the opportunities learn about the skills they can use in their adult lives. this aspect will make them that they are even more likely to grow up mature adults as well as lead healthy lives.
For the reasons mentioned above, I totally agree with the opinion because what children grow up independently and responsibly is much more important rather than they get stressed out from household chores. |
