Since people have noticed that there are other planets outside of the Earth, people have been exploring space. However, some people claim that it is more important to spend money for people who are suffering from poverty. To begin with, people cannot stop exploring space, so governments should allocate much money for it because exploration provides convenience in humans’ lives with valuable information. As people have explored space, they have discovered some mysteries that can be applied to science and technology at home. For example, people are available to communicate with one another more effectively whenever or wherever they want, to find out directions accurately while they are driving and to prepare clothes for daily weathers due to information provided by artificial satellites orbiting the Earth. Thus, it is evident that space exploration should be continued for advancements in humans’ life. Although there are many advantages of space exploration, people around the world are still confronted with poverty. To solve these social issues and set up better global society, developed countries should prioritize helping residents in underdeveloped countries rather than exploring outer space. For example, some people in poor nations are going through hunger, diseases and even become refugees without their homes. In this global society, it is more valuable to assist them to overcome their difficulties than to explore the universe. To sum up, after looking at these both views, it is a true fact that advancements by exploring space have brought convenience to humans. However, helping global neighbours should be prioritized in this global society. |
