Numerous countries have started to find several
areas to meet energy resources’ demand. Some people argue that they should not develop
remote places or untouched natural areas due to the environment. However, I am
not in favor of this opinion for a couple of significant reasons.
To begin with, as environmental destruction
is unavoidable, then people should find places where they can minimize the
damages. These are the places which are remote from residential areas. Energy resources
development near these areas gives detrimental impacts on both environment and
human beings. For example, if a country starts oil drilling in the center of
the metropolises, people in there would confront several problems which give
negative impacts on daily lives such as air pollution and noise matters. However,
once they do it far from these kinds of places, they can decrease some extent of
damages on the people.
On top of that, doing energy resources constructions
in the untouched natural places benefits the overall development to countries. First
of all, they can reap the benefits by selling resources. For instance, advanced
countries desire to find the resources more. If they commence gas drilling in unfounded
area in south pacific nations areas, the developing countries can earn money by
exporting the gas and the developed country can get gas easily. Secondly, by
doing this, the selling nation can get technologies. Since developed countries
should launch the fundamental constructions in the areas in the exporting
countries, the importing countries cannot help imparting information about it
to them. As a result, the nations can utilize the data to other things.
In conclusion, even though there must be
some negative impacts on the environment, people should look for energy resources
in distance areas and untouched places because of variety advantages. |
