Topic ▼ We are becoming increasingly dependent on computer-based technology. How do you think it will change in the future? Is it good for us to rely so much on computers? |
Your Answer ▼ Since humanity invented the computer, technology has been rapidly developing until the present day and it seems that we are almost impossible to live our lives without high-tech devices electronic components or mobile phones. While it is expected that technology will influence our lifestyle in the future, there are concerning voices coming out for dependency of advanced technology and whether this growing tendency is welcome or not. First of all, as it is already in progress, technology will take over our future and mankind will likely to have no choice but adapt and rely on it. It is an indisputable fact that this amazing invention of mankind has helped to improve our life. At the same time, we have been becoming dependant on technological development and searching for what is more comfortable, easier, better, and faster. In the future, technology will be so advanced and become more user-friendly even for the elderly or for people who are terrible at electronics. This will definitely lead to an increase in our dependence on technology. Dependency on computer-based technology can be helpful. However, if the usage goes beyond the usual limit, it will bring us a serious impact on both physical and mental health. For example, if we are able to do everything while sitting in front of the computer without going out at all, it will increase the obesity rate and also give us the social anxiety as we lose the ability to socialise with others. To sum up, it will be unavoidable to rely on technology as it will play a more pivotal role in the future. Though using technology is good to some extent, as too much of anything is bad, we must aware of what negative consequence could happen as often as we use a computer. 297 words |
