The given pie charts describe the units of electricity production by fuel source in Australia and France, along with the comparison of two distinctive years, 1980 and 2000.
Overall, it seems that the two countries have experienced an increase in total production for 20 years. In 2000, coal accounted for the largest portion in Australia, while nuclear power had was the highest share in France.
Looking at the first graph more closely, one can see that the units of electricity generated from coal and hydropower experienced an the increase. Especially, the share of production by coal jumped more than double from 40 units to 130 units. The units of electricity of other fuel sources such as the natural gas and oil plummeted significantly throughout 20 years. In France, which the total production has doubled from 90 units to 180 units. The nuclear power electricity production experienced a considerable increase from 15 units to 126 units. It is noticeable that the amount (비율도 틀린 건 아니지만, 이런 경우에는 보통 양으로 갑니다.) proportion of natural gas inclined in both countries in 2000.
