Employers should give longer holidays to employees to
encourage them to do their job well. Do you agree?

These
days, providing vacation to workers is considered as an essential benefit of employees
because having holidays is believed as the basic source to ramp up the productivity
of enterprises. Although some researchers complain that offering extended absences
to labors may occur bring (이게 조금 더 정확합니다.) several drawbacks, I personally think those people’s opinion
is only confined to excessively long holidays. Thus, I would like to opine
that longer holidays give merits to employees.
One reason is that burgeoning work duties are forcibly demanded due
to improved technologies nowadays. The actual working hours overshadow the proper

require opportune and longer official holidays than the past so it helps workers
to manage their body condition as well as enhance companies’ productivity. For
example, there are some firms which allow 4 days working days, 3 days of absence
in a week, compared to the normally accepted 2 days. According to the analysis, the enterprises show the almost doubled
work productivity and workers’ royalty as for their companies compared to that
of enterprises demand six working days to the employees.
Another
reason is that making acquaintances, sharing joy and personal sorrow with family
and friends is commonly believed as one of the necessities in human beings. By
having the extended holidays, workers are able to refresh themselves as well
as revive their energy to focus on work duties in companies. For instance, the
majority number of universities in the world are known to offer a sabbatical year
to their professors in every 7 years. Most professors say that this is a great opportunity
to them regarding not only spending their time with their family but also rebuilding state-of-the-art academic knowledge.
To sum
up, even though there are some arguments against permitting extended holidays
to workers, I am truly persuaded that having longer holidays may thrive the productivity
of firms as well as positive impacts on workers’ work and life balance.
