Some employers want to be able to contact their staff at all times, even on holidays.
Does this development have more advantage than disadvantage?
It is not hard to see people being caught up with works even after they come home from work. However, it is pretty arguable if it is legitimate to have interaction with companions about works after their duty is done, or even on days where they are supposed to take a rest, like holidays.
Some people argue that there is no harm contacting their staff or other workers due to unfinished work on holidays. They opine that sacrificing little bit of the individual's free time to get the work done would make the unfinished project perfect which is good for everyone. Also, they think that it would contribute to build teamwork by getting to know each other by having contact in new environment that is not work place in addition to the advantage of getting done their project.
On the other hand, there are other people who support the idea of 'Anti-interaction between workers on holidays'. They believe that it could easily make the workers tired and annoyed, which has possibility to lead to the results of over-stressed or depression since people tend to feel like they are still working and so over working when they keep get phone calls and emails that have to do with their job. Adherent to this opinion, according to the investigation that was studied in 2019 in Korea, firms where ban calls or messages of employers and staffs outside the company has experienced higher effectiveness of works than those where workers had to finish their project even on off days.
I strongly assert that drawbacks of interaction between workers on holidays weigh heavier than it's bright sides as it could provoke the serious health and mental problems due to over stressed.
