The flow chart illustrates the way in which electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station.
Overall, there are is two noticeable features in the whole hydroelectric power process, which are the water from the river that generates electricity in the day time and at night, pumping the water into the high-level reservoir.
To begin, the water from the river flows into the dam which holds the water in the high-level reservoir. The intake is placed in underneath of the dam, it opes during the day time, however, it blocks the water at night. Following that, the water reaches to the power station, which is used to generate electricity. The power station is divided into two ways, when the water arrives at the reversible turbines, it is performed the generator to bring on electricity in the day time. By contrast, at night, the turbines are used to pump the low-level water to the high-level reservoir. In the subsequent subsequence process, the generator is located above the turbines, which is combined with the power lines and it is directly conveyed to the national grid.
