It has been argued that the recent recycling waste from homes is not enough for intention. Some claim that governments should erect a new legal requirement to increase recycling at home and it makes people recycle more of their waste. I think that implementing a legal requirement would be a solution to make people pay attention for recycling problem.
First of all, most of people in recent society, do not realise what the environment faces. More and more waste has been abandoned due to people’s carelessness about recycling, which pollute their nature getting worse. Recycling waste is the most powerful solution that individual can do. According to a recent research from South Korea, the government forced citizens to recycle their waste systematically. Few years later, South Korea’s recycling rate hugely increased and it affected South Korea’s environment. Now, South Korea is the most clear country among Asia. It is apparent that governments should implement a legal recycling requirement for their environment.
Moreover, some people do not know how they classify their recycling waste such as plastics and paper. This is because of a lack of knowledge for their wasting habits. If governments make a new law about recycling, people’s awareness of reusing stuff are dramatically increased. For example, Australia government promoted a campaign about recycling waste and if citizens break the law of a legal recycling requirement, the government imposed them. This policy makes Australian to recycle more of their waste. It is evident that laws promoted people’s awareness of recycling are helpful to increase people to recycle the waste from homes.
To conclude, I insist that governments have responsibility about recycling waste, and if people do not pay attention with this problem, governments should implement the a legal requirement for their environment. |
