For
many, shopping malls are great places to spend their leisure time and meet
others. People, however, in the past mostly visited those when necessary. To what
extent do you think this is a negative trend? |

These
days, it is no doubt that shopping malls are getting larger and more dynamic
and these amenities attract innumerable guests to spend their free time with family
and friends. Although there are some people who complain that the diversity
in the leisure is on the wane owing to those shopping malls with infrastructures,
I disagree with their notion that the leisure facilities in the mall is a negative
trend. First of all, I strongly believe that the
shopping malls, which are able to offer a variety of amusement to their customers,
are usually conglomerates. While SME (Small-Medium Enterprise) barely have biblical
investment, behemoth can afford more payment compared to those small business
men. Hence, the intricacy of investment is likely to convey poor service. What
is more, huge companies’ affiliates cooperate with each other to support
their services. For instance, Shin-Se-Gye shopping mall in Busan, which is
the biggest department store in Asia, contains a spa lounge, an ice link, a huge
cinema theatre, a massive food court, a plethora of book shop and so forth. It
is a fact that those facilities owners are mostly the siblings of the chairman
of the shopping mall and they support each other, therefore, big shopping
malls are able to be provided fresh ingredients for food and good promotion
price for the film ticket. What is more, people are able to enjoy all
those services without going out of the mall. In the past, people should visit
various places to do activities, whereas people can do sports, dine and sedentary
activities in one place nowadays. Especially, I believe it gives absolutely
beneficial results to parents with kids who might hard to move to many places.
Furthermore, many people say that the conglomerates’ services are trustworthy.
As lots of employees contribute themselves to offer the best service and facilities
to their guest, it guarantees exceptional hospitality and high-quality goods.
Thus, the shopping malls’ competitiveness regarding the price, various facilities
and convenience lure countless guests and it thrives the behemoth as the business
giant. In condensation, according to the aforementioned
analysis, I do consider that the prosperity of shopping malls as the one-time
leisure place is a positive trend and it is inevitable owing to their competitivity.
They provide not only indulgences but also convenience to their customers. |
