The given diagram details British’s consumption on fruits and vegetables each day between 2001 and 2008, displayed as percentages. Looking from an overall trend, it is readily apparent that women had the highest share, whereas children ranked last throughout the period. Also, all three groups had a similar pattern throughout the time. Looking first of all at women, it had the highest contribution in 2006 (more than 30%), whereas the lowest figure was in 2001 with just above 21%. After women reached a peak of over 30% in 2006 and then it steadily declined to 31% at the end of the period. Children consumed the least amount of fruit and vegetables in general, the same lowest proportion recorded in 2001,2002 and 2003 at approximately 12%. In 2007, children rates was as high as that of men by a narrow margin (25% and just over 25%, respectively). Finally, men showed a similar trend as children, having the same share in starting 3 years (around 16%) and it slightly decreased from 2006 to 2008 by an imperceptible margin of about 2%.
