These six areas can be disignated to two groups, that are industrial usage dominant and agricultural usage donminat areas.
Frist of all, north america and eurpe are the regions that most of its water resources are used for industries. To be specific, north america use 48% of its water to industry while agricultural use and domestic use are took up only 39% and 13% respectively. Europe also invests 53% of its water on industry while the other two uses are only hold 47% in total.
In terms of the regions of second group that are agricultural usage dominat areas, agricultural use holds at least 70% of total water consumption in all regions. Especially, in central asia, 88% of its water is flowing to farms for harvesting while domestic and industrial use figures are only 7% and 5% respectively. The other agricultural usasge dominant areas are also shows the huge amount of water consumption on agriculture with 84% in africa , 81% in south east asia, and 71% in south america in sequence.
In conclusion, we can observe that the regions that are holding developed conturies are tend to use its water resources on industry compared to the other regions. |
