The first graph shows the economic value of students from abroad in the US in the year 2005, 2010, and 2015. The second graph illustrates the number of international student from China, India, and South Korea in the year 2005 and 2015.
It is clear that economic value of international students in America slightly increased from $10.1 billion in 2005 to $15.6 billion in 2010. Interestingly, economic value of students abroad in the US dramatically increased from 2010 to 2015. The economic value in 2015 was almost twice the figure in 2010. These figures were $35.8 billion and $15.6 billion, respectively.
It is observed that in 2005, the number of Chinese students was the lowest among other nations. The figure was approximately 50,000. However, the figure skyrocketed to roughly 350,000 in 2015. In addition, the number of students from South Korea in 2005 was roughly equal to the figure in 2015 at approximately 100,000.
