With the growth of the elderly population these days, there have been increasing demands for caregivers for them amongst many families. There are many trained professionals, and hiring them can reduce worries of the families. There might be negative opinions on this development, but I personally think that there are more advantages of it, (일단 넣긴 했는데, 안 넣어도 되긴 합니다.) that will be discussed further in this essay.
For a start, especially when the elderly members of a family have some medical issues, they can see an immediate improvement of their health by receiving taking professional cares. If other family members have to give them care, there can be a lot of mistakes as they are not professional in health care. They might overly provide nutrition to see the improvement and cause another problem and may even worsen the symptom.
Likewise, the elderly can feel free to ask help when there is an experienced caregiver. Actually, asking for help is not always comfortable for them even though it is widely accepted in the society. They are sometimes afraid of looking needy and helpless and even hesitate to call their close family when they need something. However, care from professionals can solve this problem and help the family.
To come to the point, the elderly can take care from their family or other professionals when they need. However, professional and improved care can help them better because their needs can be more acceptable and understandable when they are with the caregivers. |
