In spite of the advances made in agriculture, many people around the world still go hungry.
Why is this the case?
What can be done about this problem?
It is true that now our world is facing a food shortage matter even though farming skills have been developed enough. Some people might not be considering this problem significantly but it has to be a primary problem for the present society. There may have several causes of the food shortage problem.
First of all, the gap between wealth and poverty could be a reason for it. Rich people are not concern about foods and some foods were wasted by their greed. However, poor people cannot afford to buy foods so they are suffering from hunger and dying every day. Secondly, the quality of soil can be one of the matters. To cultivate plentiful crops, it needs a rich environment and right location but the quality of the environment and location have been polluted by humans for many years.
Regarding the polluted soil, it can be caused by the development of the urban area. By establishing buildings and constructing new structures, the environment had been damaged massively and it had generated various pollutions, also a low air condition. The soil was affected by these all pollutions and it can impact on framing. Moreover, because of urban redevelopment projects, it might have had less location to cultivate. In addition, the growth of the population can possibly one of the reasons. The more population increase, there will be remaining less foods to supply.
In conclusion, to solve the food shortage, primarily, stop or make less emitting smoke pollution is the most significant and then reinforce the soil could be a solution for it.
