These days, younger generation is unwilling to work in agricultural jobs, therefore, this type of jobs have considered as a minor job. In this essay, I will analyse the triggers that have developed this consequences and possible solutions to avoid this situation.
First of all, while the number of farmers has declined because of technology development, there are a fewer job opportunities in agricultural field. To illustrate, in terms of higher work efficiency, major tasks such as picking fruits could be finished faster and more consistently when machines conduct because work does not distracted by going to the toilet or having meals. Furthermore, agricultural occupations do not provide sustainable ensured income because of unexpected natural disaster. For example, when crop fields are attacked by storm or drought, it can be struggling to provide quality crops to markets, therefore, they will not be able to have enough outcome to make living time to time.
One effective solution is educating children in schools how the farming is essential in our lives. In detail, people are willing to be in an important position, therefore, younger generation will be encouraged to work in farming area by learning importance of the farming job. In addition, improving and adding facilities in countryside would be another possible solution. It is because, farms are usually located in outskirts of large towns and modern people tend to get job in the city since it is convenient to live while approaching many restaurants and hospitals easily.
In conclusion, despite of decreasing number of farmers, it could possible to attract youngsters into farming jobs if the government adding more facilities and educating children of the cruciality of agriculture.
