In order to address the problem of an increasing trend of businesses to neglect the environment to further their profits, its causes such as absence of international rules must be clearly considered by society. To accomplish this, the most practical solution is to make international rules for environment and to give penalties to the countries which betray the rules. These days, businesses that destroy the environment is principally caused by absence of international rules. This issue has occurred because most of companies has been founded to maximize their profits. If there is no rule that regulates them, they would keep destroying the environment to make profits. For example, numerous trees are cut down in Amazon for business profits because there is no regulation. As a result of this, various species in that area lose their habitats and the global warming gets worse. This shows that the environment are being destroyed without regulations. To alleviate the prevalent causes of neglecting the environment to further profits, the international organizations should promote awareness about protecting the environment. Giving penalties to nations which betray the international rules for the environment can help to protect the environment. For instance, a country that betrays the rule can not participate in Olympic. As a result, the government of the country would regulate the companies that destroy the environment. This demonstrates that international regulations would help nations protect the environment. To conclude, the causes related to the problem of destroying the environment for profits can be sufficiently alleviated if people acknowledge the fact that society must formulate effective solutions. |
