| The given line graph gives the information about the amount of goods which was transported by 4 different transportation ways in the United of kingdom from 1974 to 2002. | Overall, except for rail, all figures showed an upward trend until the end of the period. On the contrary, the figure for pipeline was the least popular way to move goods for during the given period, which It started at around 5 million tonnes then it had fourfold climb until 1995 before levelling off from 1995 to final year of the period. | Moving on to the rail and water, the similiar amount of goods was were transported by both, rail and water at around 40 million tonnes in 1974. They stayed at the same level until 1978. Subsequently However, the both ways showed contrasting trend. To be specific, the figure for of water ended at just above at 60 million tonnes after up and down ,while the amount of goods transported by rail went through a decline until 1995, then before it returned back as to it’s initial figure. |
