The pie charts describe the proportion of online music service users from five different age groups in the USA in the year 2013, 2015, and 2017.
In specific, the prominent feature is that music users on the Internet from 40 years old to 49 years old had the largest figure among other age groups, reaching a high of 34% in 2013. However, the figure decreased gradually to 26% in 2015 and to 14% in 2017. A similar trend was seen in those between 10 years old to 19 years old from 2013 to 2015. The figure fell from 5% in 2013 to 4% in 2015. However, the figure skyrocketed by 20% in 2017.
Furthermore, online music users from 20 years old to 29 years old increased by 8% in 2015 from 18% in 2013, and the figure soared to 34% in 2017, becoming the largest figure. Interestingly, the figure of music users between 30 years old and 39 years old in 2013 was roughly similar to the figure in 2015 at approximately 32%.
Overall, each group changed considerably during the period. It is clear that the oldest music users had the largest portion in 2013, but this age group became the smallest in 2017.
