Art is considered as an essential part of all cultures throughout the world. However, these days fewer and fewer people appreciate art and turn their focus to science, technology and business. Why do you think that is? What could be done to encourage more people to take interest in the arts?
Art holds a great significance since it promotes our creativity and also teaches us about history. Nevertheless, art is less likely to be enjoyed by many people in modern society. Science and technology reach people attention these days. In this essay, I will examine the reason for this issue, along with the viable solutions for the revitalization of art.
First of all, art is becoming less famous owing to the current social atmosphere. It is true that society has changed into more technology-focused and science industry attracts many people. Presumably, it is a common belief that many artists are suffering from poverty, while scientists or doctors earn above-average wages. In addition, people need leisure time to enjoy the artwork. However, every passing day, the world becomes hectic and a majority of employees do not have time to do visit the art museum or cultural facilities.
To alleviate this problem, government, school, and enterprises need to put an considerable effort for the revitalization of art. The government needs to make sure to put more art-related subject in the school curriculum. Unfortunately, numerous schools have take out the art lesson since they regard it as a useless subject. To prevent this, the government have to set a minimum number of art lecture and it will affect students to learn basic knowledge of art pieces. In addition, to guarantee the cultural life for workers, companies should promote the discounted price of an entrance fee of places such as the art centre. Moreover, companies should ensure an early leave to workers, at least once a month, for cultural life.
To sum up, it is true that many people lose their interest in art since our society is closely related to science and technology. Although this is a serious problem, it can be resolved by adding more art subject in the curriculum and designating a special day that workers can genuinely enjoy art in their leisure time.
