▶ Your Answer :
People live in the multicultural world today,
therefore, individuals can see the difference of person’s culture and
personality by observing what he/she wears. Some people say that the choice of
wearing probably show each person’s character and culture, but I do not think
we can figure out all about them from just looking them.
Some people say that there is a possibility to see
different cultures and characteristics from individual’s clothing style. We can
see the difference choice of clothes in many places. To illustrate this, some
countries have strong religions and traditions, so their life style is related
to what clothes to wear. This means especially Muslim religion requires women
to hide their hair and wear long sleeves, showing their body is not allowed in
their cultures. As a result, we can easily see their culture from what they are
wearing.
On the other hand, I think the choice of wearing styles
does not tell what person’s tradition and their character. It is true that my
country was extremely conservative for many reasons. For example, ancesters
created the clothes, which hid most body, because they thought the clothes they
produced are appropriate to show they are represented as ethnic culture. However,
time passes every second times, so manufacturing clothing styles are changing. Therefore,
people do not wear the traditional wears anymore. In addition, old people preferred
to wear the clothes which may show their age appropriately, they avoid nay
outfits looked young. Nowadays, it had been changed and old people who were conservative
for selecting clothes started wear fashionable and trendy clothes as the time
has been changed. Consequently, people in my country wear what they prefer, not
wear clothes connecting the culture except on special occasion like a Koreans
new year.
In conclusion, I think that we can assume where some
people come from and their character enough, but not a lot. It can only be related
to some certain countries’ people and unique person.
