These days, many teenagers are addicted to computers and spending an amount of time on them. This can lead to a serious problem in their mental and physical health, also many parents often worry about the negative effect of computer use. I agree with their concerns because the current children are more exposed to technology than ever before.
First of all, spending too much time using computers or smart devices can occur some physical problems. Although young students can access various useful information and do their study or assignments via using a computer, they lack the proper physical activities to take strengthen their health. Adolescents are likely to become unfit and even can obese if they do not get up and do physical exercise on regular basis. In addition, using digital devices can derive easily dry-eye and backache at a young age.
Moreover, there another problem with the usage habits of computers and digital devices. Teenagers can undertake some mental problems if they use them without any serious attention. Children can enjoy their hobbies such as watching movies, dramas or doing games with the computer. However, it can lead them to lack the social skills and communication abilities in real society. Besides, teenagers may feel bored when doing anything away from their computers, and their general motivation and cognitive development can be slowed by a kind of brain fog caused by spending too much time focused on virtual activities.
In conclusion, for these reasons mentioned above, I totally agree that using too much time smart devices including computer has negative power to affect children’s physical and mental health.
