It is a common belief that human labor will be useless if
artificial intelligence is developed. However, I think that human labor will
still play a prominent role in workforce utilized by emotions such as arts.
It is true that artificial
intelligence is a good way to work fast and efficient. Artificial intelligence,
in contrast of human being, never sleeps, eats, and takes a rest, which means
that they can work 24/7. AI can can accumulate more than trillions of data
while awake. According to a recent study, artificial intelligence can decrease
human error because they thorougly perform basis their data. For example, car
accidents mostly occur from human error. However, when AI embedded
autonomination cars drive, it will most likely decrease accidents that we have
faced in everyday life.
Nevertheless, I think human labour is much more important
in the field of human emotions being necessary. Artificial intelligence will
not be able to learn same emotion as humans can. People create arts expressing their
thoughts and emotions, which learnt by living with other people growing up in
this social world. Arts is something that can never be replaced by robots. Hence,
I believe some work such as arts can be only done by human being since its main
responsibility is resonating with people and inspring people.
While it is apparent that artificial intelligence replaces
human labour, there is a significant work that human labor matters. Works which
are related to emotions, there is no
doubt that only humans can move people’s emotions. Moreover, arts produced by
human being will more likely raise resonation to people. |
