The graphs illustrate the earnings of export, divided into
five different categories from 2015 to 2016.
It is noteworthy that the earnings of petroleum
products export recorded the highest, accounting just over $60billions during the
period from 2015 to 2016, followed by engineered goods export, making up more
than $55billions. In contrast, a category of textiles showed the lowest export
earnings at about 25% in 2015 and at nearly 32% in 2016.
On the other hand, it is interesting that export
earnings of textiles increased sharply at 15.24% during the entire research
period, while earnings of agricultural products remained stable, showing the
lowest difference (0.81%). In addition, most of the categories, except gems and
jewellery, experienced an upward trend during the entire period.
With the exception of the earnings of textiles, the rise
between 2015 and 2016 is less than 10%, and lastly, the only drop of export
earnings happened in the category of gems and jewellery.
