These days, there are some countries where a proportion of younger
generation is much higher than that of older generation. Some experts say that
it has lots of advantages such as using more tax to develop facilities for all
age group not only for elderly. On the other hand, some people say that there
are still many disadvantages that outweigh them. In my opinion, the advantages
outweigh the disadvantages.
Firstly,
it is beneficial from a perspective of food. Enough food has been obviously
important. Edible food including crops, water and other things can be only
gained by labor from framers and physical workers, which means that the number
of people who can work is important in society. From this sense, we can guess
that the number of young adults is directly connected with an amount of food.
Furthermore,
it can boost our economy, leading people to trade things more that they would. A
large number of young adults means that there are lots of people who are
spending their money on some goods. A circulation of their money naturally improves
a financial state of country.
Lastly,
we can use more tax that we give governments to develop facilities not only for
specific age groups. For example, there is some space in parking lots only for
elderly. It means that there has to be more parking space for younger
generation as well, leading to more tax imposed on us.
From
all this reasons, I think this situation outweigh the disadvantages and we should
keep this population model.
