The pie charts below show the percentage of water used for
different purposes in six areas of the world.
Generally, water used for agricultural purpose in four
areas, South America, Africa, Central Asia, and South Asia, takes up a big
percentage as more than 70%. In North America and Europe, industrial use shows
a high proportion compared to that in the other four areas.
Looking at the pie chart more closely, In North America, the
sum of the percentage of industrial and agricultural use indicates 87% and
quantity of water for domestic use make up the lowest rate as 13%. Similarly,
in Europe, the sum of industrial and agricultural use shows more than 80%. In
the case of other fur areas, water used for agricultural purpose accounts for
at least 71%, and the sum of domestic and industrial use cannot exceed 29%.
Additionally, in Africa, Central Asia, and South Africa, Domestic use is much
large than industrial use, but in South East Asia, the order of the changes.
