It is true that there are opinions on
whether the development of communication technology and transportation can lead
to freedom that people can enjoy in everywhere. Some claim that people living
in the modern society can receive the benefit from the technological
development connecting various countries. However, others argue that there are
many dangerous factors making confusion that come from the progress of
communication and transportation in our lives.
On the one hand, firstly, the development
of communicational technologies can bring the deficient face to face
communication. This is because the communicational progress mostly focuses on the
conversation on Internet or virtual reality. Hence, the reducing amount of the
face to face conversation can lead to the loss of the humanity. Secondly, the technological
advance of transport can cause the air pollution because of the heavy traffic jam.
For instance, since many transits like cars and trains invented, there has been
the severe air pollution caused by the global warming.
On the other hand, I would agree that these
disadvantages are outweighed by merits. some people claim that the
technological advance of communication and transportation can activate
globalizing that improve the lucrative interchanges among the countries. Since
there are the increasing number of trades that enhance the economical conditions
of the countries, people all around the world can easily get the products that
can not produce in their regions, exporting their surplus products simultaneously.
In addition, the technological development of skill about conversation and
transit can make humans lives enrich. For example, unlike in the past, when there
are people connecting to the countries that have better culture moralistically,
people can realize the problems of their old customs, trying to break them.
In conclusion, it is evident that there
seem to be more benefits than drawbacks. However, the possible disadvantages of
the development in the communication and transportations should not be overlooked.
