Your Answer ▼ The employment rate has decreased in modern society for decades. When some people have talked about this matter, there has always been different causes such as overpopulation, a low education system, and deprivation of a government support. However, there is a new way of thinking about the possible reason for the low employment rate. People who do not have a strong will to apply for a job may bring low employment rates. Also, the government now tries to make a case that they do not need to pay for secondary education for those people. I personally think that the government has to spend money on higher education for people who even do not want to get a job.
Firstly, most people are entitled to receive a secondary education from the government because people have to pay taxes for education year after year. Also, it is believed that the government should spend some money on a secondary education for people no matter what. If people only receive a primary education from the government, the employment rate would be greater in the future. People who have less education may have fewer opportunities to be employed also they may get paid at a little money which is not enough for their lives. Additionally, the government can no longer compete with other countries without talented people. The government may have huge losses economically.
Secondly, people who are well-educated can grow up independently and have a competitive advantage. Higher education can make people become more successful and have increased abilities to do their work. Some findings from universities around the world state that some countries that provide more education from the government have less infant mortality rates as well as higher birth rates. This result proves how much a secondary education is important for people. In regards to these reasons, the government has to spend more money on a secondary education for their citizens. Then, the employment rate may increase steadily.
In conclusion, the low employment rate is not only a problem with people who are not willing to get a job. In my opinion, there are many different causes which may result in the low employment rate. Despite the kinds of people who do not want to get a job, money should be spent on secondary education in effective ways. providing that the government highly recommends secondary education and even higher education to people with lower willing, people may improve their mindset and the employment rate will arise.
