Overall, It is clear that the category of consumer expenditure that people spent the largest amount of money, was on food, drinks and tobacco in all five countries. On the other hand, leisure and education has the lowest percentage in the table.
In terms of the percentage of spending on food, drinks and tobacco, the largest spending on among 5 countries was Turkey at 32.14%, and also, the second largest expenditure on it can be seen in Ireland at 28.91%. The proportion of spending on clothing and footwear was highest in Italy at 9.00%, whereas the highest expenditure on leisure and education was in Turkey at 4.35%.
Sweden had the lowest percentage of consumer spending on food, drinks and tobacco, and clothing and footwear at almost 16.00% and 5.40% respectively. The spending on leisure, education in Spain had the lowest proportion at 1.98%.
