It is true that there are many opinions
about whether a government investment in the arts is waste of its budget or
not. Some argue that the governments have to focus on investing its money in
public service. However, others claim that the governments’ investments in various
sections of the art is necessary. This essay will discuss why the government must
invest their monetary budget not only in public services, but also in the arts.
First of all, the importance of arts in
culture has been increased around the world. Because of the wide influence in
social media, the quality of artistic culture is one of the main evaluation
factors in regard of the power of the country. In this way, governments at the
present time should invest their monetary budgets in arts in order to strengthen
their power.
Secondly, the section of arts alone can not
be activated in society without the financial support of the government. This
is because busy people in these days usually do not have ability to spend their
time and money on enjoying the culture of arts. Furthermore, to improve the quality
of the artistic culture, the infrastructure in arts should be accompanied. Therefore,
since the development of the arts requires the large amount of money, the governments
have the responsibility to make bankroll for them so that consumers can enjoy high-quality
culture of arts without the monetary burden.
Thirdly, the arts have the important role
in treatment. In modern society, it is necessary to provide the arts because the
majority of them can be utilized as the remedy of unstable people. Hence, the
government must make the investment in arts because there are a number of people
who have trouble in keeping their emotional stability as the modern society
become more pressured.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that
investing money in the arts is not waste of money because it can make it possible
to improve the lives of people.
