Overall, it is clear that more adults visited art events to satisfy their
desires that is to see specific performers or artists according to the given data.
Looking
at the table in more detail, the both percentages of respondents who attend art
events for children and work have increased throughout 20 years. While under
one tenth among researched people attend events for children 20 years ago, the proportion for
that becomes more than twice at the present. The rate of researched adults who
participated art events for work or business was only 6 percent but it has
risen to 11 percent. In contrast, the figures for people who visit events to
celebrate showed an opposite trend with a gradual drop from 27 percent to under 10 percent.
Meanwhile,
the most popular reason for attending art events is to see particular artists
or performer throughout 20 years, although there was a slight decline from 58
percent to 56 percent.
