Looking from an overall perspective, it is clear that apart from people aged 31-40, the percentages of happiness level in other age groups went down. Then, that of the level of happiness on males climbed compared to females over 32 years. Moreover, the more earnings people generate, the higher happiness level is.
Looking at the three bar charts more closely, one can see that a downward trend was seen in happiness level for people whose ages were between 21 and 39 and more than 40 as a proportion. In particular, the former one decreased from reaching a pinnacle at 7 out of 10 to nearly one-fifth of the total. By contrast, that of happiness level belonging to 31-40 age group noticeably increased and then became the highest among 4 categories, with accounting for approximately 60%. In addition, the percentage of level of happiness on women was 1.5 times as high as that of men in 1980. However, the latter of which overtook the previous one in the latter period.
