The three pie
charts plot the average rates in four meals in a day contain three different nutrients
which are consumed by American people. All in all, people
mostly intake sodium and saturated fat during dinner and snacks contain by far
more added sugar than other nutrients. When it comes
to sodium, dinner contains 43% of sodium, making the biggest slice of pie among
the given charts and it is followed by lunch, 28% of sodium in the food.
Furthermore, The US citizen consumed sodium in the same rate, 14% during the breakfast
and eating snacks. In regards to
saturated fat, as mentioned above, dinner shows the largest ratio, 37%, and lunch
is the second-highest nutrient contains saturated fat 26%, interestingly, it
is closely trailed by that of snacks, 21%. The percentage of breakfast illustrates
the lowest figure, 16%. In terms of added
sugar, snacks have 42% of added sugar which is the second-biggest slice of pie
among three charts and the largest figure in the added sugar chart, almost twice
bigger than that of dinner, 23%. The rate of breakfast shows the exact same
figure with that of breakfast in saturated fat, in addition, the lunch depicts
the lowest figure in this chart, 19%, among the rate of other nutrients at lunch. |
