In the world, because everything is limited including status and resources, sometimes, people need to compete each other to achieve what they want. For the challenge in the future, some people believe that a sense of competition in children should be encouraged, while others believe that it is better to teach how to cooperate rather than compete. If people start to challenge each other from the young age, various experiences is helpful. For instance, in an unexpected situation, people with experience will have better coping ability. Moreover, the skills that require for challenge are useful in the life. One of the examples is communication skills. To be chosen by others, person need to communicate really well to attract the listeners. However, some people think cooperating is more important because it helps children to build their social ability. If people cannot talk with other people because of their own personality, it is no use for having competition skills. Another reason is that it is not late for children to learn how to challenge in older age. In secondary school, because of their works, there will be lots of opportunities to build up their competition skills. Thus, in young age, all they have to do is enjoy their time with their friend and activities that fit with their age. Through this, they can smoothly learn the cooperation. In my opinion, I think it is better to teach how to cooperate with each other in young age, because there is enough time for them to compete each other in the future. Moreover, they are too young to compete each other. |
