The given charts give information about the number of employers related to the gender in different six sectors in the years of 1975 and 1995.
Overall, the total number of people who worked in 6 sectors was increased over the period in question. While men and women who worked for the public sector not including the defense were the most in 1975, the biggest increment of female employers was seen in wholesales and retail trade where the number of women surpassed the number of men which remained stable.
Looking at the graphs more closely, one can see that women employers worked for the public sectors without defense were the most in 1975, while female employers in wholesales and retail trade became the most in 1995. The number of female workers rose up roughly 300 thousand people in three sectors, namely each communications, finance and banking and wholesales and retail trade.
Meanwhile, male workers who worked in 5 sectors in exclusion of the public sectors for the defense remained stable during the period. The only slight decrease of men was seen in the public sector for the defense by falling about 20 thousand male people, where the female workers rose up from approximately 20 thousand people to 100 thousand people over 20 years.
