Your Answer ▼ It is true that environmental issues get numerous concerns in society. Some people assert that it is too serious for human to address, while others think that without people's action these problems cannot be solved. From my perspective, the latter view is more persuasive for dealing with this topic.
On the one hand, some people argue that people do not have enough ability to solve environmental problems. That is, they tend to companies' effort is more effective to make better condition in environment. This is because, ecosystem is too vast to show the changes which come from peoples' behavior. Also, companies have more responsibility than individuals because they use more natural resources to get fossil fuels. Due to the destruction of environment, animals get damaged, leading to ruin of food chain in ecosystem. Therefore, it is challenging for people to cope with this phenomenon.
On the other hand, I believe that people can play a key role in environmental problems. Even if the government makes environmental protection laws, there is no effect if the nation do not abide by the regulation. Thus, people should feel responsible for the damage and pollution of nature. Moreover, careful movements which are performed by human allow environment to get positive results. For instance, activities like throwing away garbage only fixed places, retaining protected areas and reducing unnecessary resource usage produce more advantages to both human and ecosystem.
In conclusion, without individuals' attention and interest, severe condition in environment cannot become better. Thus, i agree with the opinion that environmental issues cannot be solved if people do not take actions. |
