When
it comes to sharing of information, obviously, there are two sides which think
differently. One argues that we should be ale to share as much information as
we want. On the other hand, the other side argues that some information is too
important to be shared freely and there must be a restriction on that.
The people
who are saying that information should be shared think it increases overall
social profits. For example, everyone can share whatever they want to share on
the internet, which leads to everyone getting an access to information that
they need. It eventually helps people in society. To give you another example,
there might be people who are trying to do the same scientific researches in different
places. If they share what they are doing, they can avoid unnecessary
experiments.
However,
people who think quite differently say that an unlimited access to information
might put the world at a risk. For instance, there are things which particular
social classes such as military and governments are dealing with. If normal
citizens had an access to those information freely and shared what they think
of it, a role of leaders in society might become weak and disappear. Furthermore,
comparing it to these days, there are lots of rumors about the efficiency of
the vaccine of covid-19 out there because of some people whose expertise is not
medical field revealing out their thought.
In
my opinion, I agree with that we should be able to share information and find
out what we want but an exposure of information should be taken care of by
public officers should be restricted to some extent. |
