To take a closer look, one can see that in 1995, drama was the most profitable genre followed by comedy, action, and adventure which was similler to the three least combined having about 17percent. In 2000, comedy have rised and became the most profitable genre. Also, the upward trend was seen at the thriller, musicals, and animation. In contrast, adventure, action , and drama especially went down the most. In 2005, combining the percentage of adventure and comedy took more than half of the profit percentage. Plus, adventure shoot up heavily and become a second profitable movie genre. The most profitable one was the comedy which take about 28 percent of the percentage. |
