The chart gives information concerning land use in Portugal, New Zealand, Canada and Norway. Land use is divided into 3categories, non-agricultural land, pasture land and arable land. Overall, the percentages of non-agricultural accounted for the largest portion of the land use chart of each country. Also, except from New Zealand, the percentages of arable land is larger than the percentage of pasture land.
As clearly seen from the Canadian chart, the percentage of non-agricultural land accounted for the largest portion(93%) of the land use of Canada. This is followed by arable land and pasture land, which account for 5% and 2% of the charts, respectively. It is interesting that the land use of Canada is similar to the land use of Norway. The percentage of non-agricultural land in Norway take up 96% and it is the largest portion of the chart. Also, the percentage of pasture land in Norway take ip smallest portion (1%) of the chart.
It is also clear that the percentage of pasture land in New Zealand is almost equal to the percentage of non-agricultural land in New Zealand (48% and 51%, respectively). Also, the percentage of arable land in New Zealand takes up the smallest portion (1%) of the percentages of arable land in Portugal, Canada and Norway (34%, 5% and 3% respectively).
