It is true that parents should spend their time for their kids. While some people tend towards the viewpoint that parents should help their children’s study. I would have to support the idea that most children want to play sports with their parents rather than to study with them.
On the one hand, there are clear arguments that children need help of their parents for schoolwork. One of the main reasons can be that most students can not understand all the classes they take during the day, so their parents should help them after school. This means that parents have to spend their time instead of their teacher to help their children acquire more knowledge. Another reason can be that, by teaching their kids, parents can know and understand more about them. For example, after spending time teaching their children, parents will know what their kids find difficult to study, what they did at the school in daytime, and how they feel about the people around them.
On the other hand, I agree with the viewpoint that parents should play sports with their kids. Firstly, I believe that students already have enough time to study in the school. This is because there are many teachers who can teach academical information. So, parents don’t need to teach their kids themselves. Secondly, I also feel that children need time to communicate with their parents other than studying. For instance, if children could have enough time to understand their parents in childhood, they have difficult in communicating with their parents. That means they may misunderstand each other though they are family for a long time, they can not trust each other, and they have to spend much more time, money, and effort to restore their relationship.
In conclusion, it seems to me that parents ought to look after their kids until they grow up enough. I think the best way children mature well is to spend time playing, communicating, and talking with their parents. |
