In recent days, some people who live in a “throw-away” society use things short-term and then throw them away. People are not more likely to use things for a long time then find out other things through the development of a lot of products. In the process of replacing products frequently can cause environmental pollution.
The development of many things these days can make people find new products to replace without using a long period. Plus, this can induce customers to buy those new products through advertisements which can get easily and promotion of social media. Despite nothing to some problem in their existing products, many customers in modern society tend to buy new products. Under this circumstance, people would buy new things more frequently due to developing products more and more, and this makes society “throw-away”. According to research done by Alice in Cambridge University, the research indicated that as the iphone comes out once a year, the consumption pattern of replacing the iphone once a year has occurred among the people. Which means that although there remains the stipulated time, iphone users wanted to get a new version of iphone.
Nevertheless, such consumption patterns of many people accelerate the environmental pollution in throw-back society. Through many factories which are established for the development of products, plastic that is harmful to the environment increases more and more, while the natural resources deplete. In addition, the air which is emitted by factories is a bad influence on the atmosphere. For instance, Apple established around 5000 factories, which for the development of the iPhone, in one region of China. The research said that the level of air pollution in this area is contaminated more 70% than in other areas.
To sum up, people use various products in a short time then throw them away because there are many things which have developed more and more in recent days. This process can result in increasing environmental pollution due to waste of products in throw-back society.
