First of all, in terms of social problems, there would be many linguistic misunderstanding issues. For instance, if you are from the western countries and you have the opportunities to live in Asia, you should talk to old generation in a different way compared to that you are used to do when you communicate with those. If you speak with them in the same method that you're used to do in your country, the old people may misunderstand that you are such rude person.
When it comes to practical issues, you may have some difficulties when you travel to or go around the streets. However, In South Korea, it becomes another story. When you are on the subway to go somewhere, you can listen to the information related to the subway stops in different kinds of languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and English on the air. Thus, most of the foreigners are able to understand what speakers say, feeling comfortable whenever they have to visit somewhere. Also, the signs at almost every streets are easy for foreign people to be able to understand.
Although it is apparent that living in foreign countries may cause some social and practical problems, it is possible to overcome by setting up lots of conveniences for foreigners to use them more easily.
