Nowadays there are many people who have difficulties getting enough sleep. There are many reasons for the cause of that, but that could be summarized as stress and a hectic schedule.
To begin with stress, people living these days are surrounded by something that brings stress such as smartphones and stimulating media. According to research conducted in England, smartphone emits blue light which disturbs deep sleep at night. Blue light emission is a well-known cause of insomnia. Moreover, as stimulating TV news such as murder and crime is surged nowadays, people are nervous even when they are at home.
Nextly, a hectic schedule could cause insomnia during the night because of a lack of time to sleep. Based on what Dr. Choi in Korea said, people usually need 2 hours to do nothing before sleep for deep sleep, but the hectic schedule leads people can't make the time for rest before sleep.
To overcome the lack of sleep, there are various ways such as having a cup of tea and reading a book before sleep every night, but this is not to get through the main reason. To eliminate the major causes, people need to put their smartphones away before going to bed and work-life balance which will relieve the hectic schedule for having enough time to take a rest before sleep.
In conclusion, there are several reasons for having difficulties getting enough sleep, but the major reasons are stress and a hectic schedule. To overcome that, people are required to stay away from their smartphones and stimulating media and get a work-life balance to reduce working hours.
