In order to address the problem of spending
children a lot of time alone, its negative effects such as difficult emotional
development and decreased interpersonal communication must be clearly
understood by society. To accomplish this, the most practical method would be
letting children to have a plenty of time with their teachers and friends
instead of spending time with their parents.
These days, most of the children are not be
able to spend enough time with their main nurturers, speficically parents. This
issue has a generally negative effects on emotional development and
interpersonal communication of children. For example, children tend to learn
how to communicate with others through the interaction with their parents. They
learn how to express and read another one's emotions by staring at nurturer's
face expressions and voices. However, if the surrounding environment couldn't
offer the opportunity of having interpersonal communication to kids, they
cannot grow as adults who can have decent conversations with people.
To alleviate the prevalent causes of the
problem, the government should make after-school programs that enable children
to acquire social skills. Attending additional programs such as dancing class
and art class can help children to spend their times in self-development.
Moreover, they are allowed to interact with their classmates and teachers. As a
result, although children can't have a lot of time with their parents, they can
be emotionally supported through the time spending in class. This reveals that
the society can help children to develop their communication skills by using
social resources.
In conclusion, while it is apparent that
children are in a risk for lack of developing social skills due to their
parents can't spend enough time with them, it is undeniable that the society
can support children by investing social resources.
