The maps illustrate the developments of Meadowside village and Fonton in three distinct stages: 1962, 1985, and present-day.
Overall, Meadowside village and Fonton have undergone significant growth and now form a larger area as they have been combined. Meadowside has transitioned from a village into a suburban area, while Fonto also has shown notable development.
In 1962, Meadowside was located slightly left of center with a main road passing through the village, while Fonton was situated in the northeastern part of the map with a separate train rail passing through it. 23 years later, both areas expanded their territories, and the road in Meadowside was enlarged and extended into another path to the east reaching Fonton. Additionally, facilities such as a leisure complex, housing estate, and superstore have been established near the road in Meadoside.
Nowadays, a new business park has been built on the south of the map, with direct access from the east-west highway. A railway station has been constructed directly opposite the business park, with a newly laid track on its right side connecting the original road passing Fonton. Lastly, a hotel has been located center of the map, right above the station. |
