It is great worth of discussing of that different
means to transport should be inspired and worldwide regulations exacted.
Some
people might insist that alternative options of transportation and laws for
supervision would be required. On the other hand, the others assert that
domination on ownership of cars would be totally abuse of the power.
Although there are mixed opinions, I strongly believe
that controlling people’s car ownership should not be encouraged.
To
begin with, thanks to vehicles especially cars, people can go anywhere as far
as they want. It led to the development of society. To be more specific, because
people are now able to go to work or travel through shortcut by their own cars,
the more people tend to try buying their car to avoid public transport.
For
example, my father used to take a bus to work. However, it took an hour and
half to get his office. This is mainly because that he had to wait for the bus,
and because of the route of the bus, the bus took the long way from our house
to his work. However, after he bought his own car, now it only takes less than
half hour. In addition, he could save a lot of time to concentrate to work, and
he contributed to raise his company’s sale.
If
there was a law banned my father from buying his own car, it would have never happened.
However, there is no doubt that cars play a
huge role of polluting the environment because of the emission of carbon
dioxide.
Many
scientists state that if people start taking public transport more often, it
will help postpone the global warming effects. Nevertheless it does not mean we
should allow the governments to control our rights.
In conclusion,
regrading violation individual’s right to property, I disagree with the give
statement. However, if there is eco-friendly alternative ways to transport, we
should encourage people to try it.
